Each and every one of our guests deserves memorable service from the moment they approach our ticket booth, enter the Gift Shop, rent a stroller, ride the train or approach one of our food service locations - until they leave the Zoo grounds. We depend on our employees to provide a friendly, courteous and helpful experience to all our guests so they will visit us again and again. Therefore, we look for individuals who like to have fun while delivering courteous, fast and friendly service.
Hogle Zoo is a fun, family environment and we want employees who will promote these ideals. Employees will uphold certain policies and work ethics, such as:
- Work all holidays between April and October.
- Weekends are our busiest days of the week so it's important that staff members be available on Saturdays and Sundays.
- Applicants who are interested in working Spring and Fall weekdays need to be available before 12pm.
- Report to work according to Hogle Zoo's dress standards, which includes two issued shirts that should be kept clean and wrinkle free, two pairs of pants and closed toed shoes (no sandals or thongs).
- Present a neat a clean personal appearance. No outrageous hair cuts or colorings and tattoos may not be visible.
- Observing Hogle Zoo's drug free work place policy and Zero tolerance for property damage policy.
