Zoo Wins Top Utah Tourism Honors

(Salt Lake City, UT) - On May 14, 2008 in Salt Lake City, the Utah Tourism
Industry Coalition and Utah Office of Tourism awarded Utah's Hogle Zoo with
four awards for their summer 2007 "Ghost of the Bayou" marketing campaign,
including the top "Best of Show" award. This is the third consecutive year
Hogle Zoo has taken home honors from the Utah Office of Tourism.

Hogle Zoo won three of the awards for Best TV Ad (Ghost of the Bayou- Eye),
Best Radio Spot (Ghost of the Bayou- Trailer) and Best Specialty Item,
Poster (Asian Highlands- Scared Dog) in the category of Annual Budgets under
$250,000. The prestigious Best of Show award was selected from all of this
year's entrants, regardless of budget.

Brad Parkin, Hogle Zoo Associate Director of Marketing Services was there to
accept the award in front of other Utah marketing peers. "We take great
pride in creating marketing programs that are insightful and
attention-getting," said Parkin. "To be recognized by the State Office of
Tourism and the Utah Tourism Industry Coalition for these efforts is very
gratifying. After all, this is Utah's Hogle Zoo." Recognition should also be
given to the creative team at Richter7 who created the winning entries.
