WHAT: Salute our
Military Day
WHEN: Thursday July
3, 2008. Event goes from 10 am to 3 pm (Zoo open from 9 am to 5 pm)
Schedule of events (subject to change)
on this day:
9 am: Bald Eagle presentation on the
Main Plaza
10 am: Flag raising ceremony by Utah
Wing Civil Air Patrol
11 am: Drill Performance by Utah Wing
Civil Air Patrol
12 pm, 1 pm: Northridge High School
Marching Band plays in Plaza

WHY: In honor of
Independence Day, Hogle Zoo would like to recognize veterans and military
personnel.
Other key activities include:
· Free Zoo admission for military personnel, veterans and
their families
· Free American flags for the first 500 kids to complete U.S.
flag trivia
· Military vehicles and information booths on Zoo grounds
· “Thank You Banner” for kids to sign for delivery to the 388th
Fighter Wing with Hill Air Force Base
