Think Globally, Act Locally Here at the Zoo we believe your everyday actions can have a big effect on our natural world. So we developed an Environmental Policy and implemented a Green Team. Representing all departments of the Zoo, the Green Team is a multi-disciplinary group of Zoo employees and managers. We work together to develop goals and initiatives to reduce our impacts on the environment. The Zoo was recognized by the Recycling Coalition of Utah as the Thomas A. Martin Utah Recycler of the Year award in 2005 for a non-profit business! Click on the links below for local conservation efforts Hogle Zoo is involved with.
