Salute to the Military

(Salt Lake City, UT) – Hogle Zoo is set to honor members of the United States
military this summer with Military Appreciation Days Tuesday July 1 through
Thursday July 3.
On these days, military personnel, veterans, and their
immediate families (spouse and dependent children) get free Zoo admission.
(Military or veteran ID required for free admission.)

In honor of Independence Day, Hogle Zoo will also hold Salute our Military Day
Thursday July 3
from 10 am to 3 pm. There will be several military branches
on grounds, as well as various veteran groups. Other Salute our Military Day
activities include:

    Â·   Military Vehicles on display
    Â·   Drill performances by the Utah Wing Civil Air Patrol in the Main Plaza
    Â·   10 am flag ceremony performed by the Utah Wing Civil Air Patrol
    Â·   “Thank You Stars” that children can sign for a banner delivered to
         Hill Air Force Base Troops
    Â·  U.S. Flag trivia game with prizes donated by Colonial Flag.
