Elephant Encounter Pachyderm Program

Nature’s largest land animals  are fascinating creatures.  They can take a bow, return a keeper’s hat, stand perfectly still to have their toenails trimmed and much more.  Watch as the Elephant Encounter staff shows off their “girls” including young Zuri, during these daily programs.  Be sure to ask questions.  Located in the training yard at Elephant Encounter.  Free with paid admission.  Space is limited so arrive early.

Wildlife Theatre Bird Show

Enjoy spectacular free-flight bird demonstrations featuring eagles, hawks, owls, parrots and other birds from around the world in the Wildlife Theatre.  This 25-minute show features audience participation and operates daily throughout the summer.  Please – no food allowed (drinks and ice cream OK) and cell phones off or muted.

Sea Lion/Seal Training

Come watch our Rocky Shores keepers work with our sea lions and seals in a husbandry training session and learn about our amazing pinnipeds and how our staff works to keep them healthy and happy. Get a glimpse of their unique personalities, their adaptations for living in a marine environment and what you can do to help their relatives in the wild.
