Join our biologists in beautiful high elevation wetlands as we survey for toads and other amphibians throughout Utah.
Utah’s Hogle Zoo has been conducting boreal toad surveys since 2014. Working in close partnership with the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources and the Forest Service, we hope to gather as much data as we can about this elusive amphibian. As we monitor sites across the state, we track species growth, find breeding populations, restore habitats, and protect critical wetlands. We need all the manpower that we can get to keep our efforts going! Come along on our next adventure.
Surveys run from June-September and vary in length ranging from day trips to multi-day camping stays in remote settings.
