Our dedicated education staff will help you visit these places and more virtually from the comfort of your couch. Each of our five unique interactive behind the scenes tours will guide you through non-public spaces, get you up-close with our animals, and leave you with a deeper understanding of how we care for the Zoo’s animals and a greater appreciation for the animal world!

Learn about how we provide veterinary care for the animals as you tour the veterinary center. Then sit tight as one of our veterinary team shares what they love about their job.

Small Animal BuildingThe Small Animal Building is home to the widest variety of animals of any exhibit here at the Zoo. In fact, it’s easy to miss something! In this tour, we have the building to ourselves as you explore the highlight reel with a member of the education team there to answer all your questions. Through a combination of pre-recorded clips and live ambassador animals, you’ll see the animals at their most active! Meet the world’s deadliest cat, feed one of the world’s largest tortoises, watch a porcupine training session, and so much more as we explore mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates all in one tour!
