Zoo Plus You

Behind the Scenes Tours

See the Zoo as you’ve never seen it before! Have you ever wanted to venture inside the world of the elephants and rhinos at the Elephant Encounter? Wanted to know what it’s like in the seal and sea lion kitchen? (Who knew they could even cook?) Or take a peek inside the L.S. Skaggs Animal Health Center?

Our dedicated education staff will help you visit these places and more virtually from the comfort of your couch. Each of our five unique interactive behind the scenes tours will guide you through non-public spaces, get you up-close with our animals, and leave you with a deeper understanding of how we care for the Zoo’s animals and a greater appreciation for the animal world!
