Jordan River Cleanup

July 18th - 9am - 1pm

Dodge the heat with another chance to get in the river as we do water trail maintenance by canoe. We will provide canoes for up to 18 people, so sign up soon. * Exact time TBD depending on route, will be morning.

August 8th: 9am - 11am

Come and help us remove those pesky puncture vine plants near the levee around 3300 South. Learn about what the City of Millcreek is doing with their trail extension, including the removal of invasive plants.

September 5th: 9am - 11am

Wrap up our summer of Jordan River events with some tree planting. The location of this event will be determined based on need so stay tuned for more information as we get closer to this date. 9-11AM

IMPORTANT: Due to COVID-19 and social distancing requirements we will only be accepting signups of pairs or groups of 3 from the same household or “quarenteam”. Additionally, each group will have to run their own shuttle, one car at put in and one at take out. This will require each group to have 2 cars and 2 drivers or to make other accommodations so as to not mix groups in cars. These requirements, as well as other measures at the event, will allow us to maintain safe social distancing to protect the health and safety of all involved. Please contact Conservation Action Coordinator Tori Bird at tbird@hoglezoo.org with any questions.
