Sea Jelly Bloom
When large numbers of sea jellies congregated in on area, it’s called a sea jelly bloom. These blooms occur when ocean currents, nutrients, and food enable numerous jellies to thrive in tight quarters. Because sea jellies can flourish in oceans going through transition due to climate change, agricultural runoff, overfishing, and other human related pressures, it’s likely we will begin to see increased sea jelly blooms.
