Giddy-up to ZooBrew: Cowboys and Claws, where country flair meets wildlife fun. Don your best western duds to wrangle support for Hogle Zoo conservation projects worldwide. Purchase exclusive cowboy grub and sip some frosty white-CLAWS and brews that will quench your thirst.

Hogle Zoo supports conservation cowboys and girls worldwide! At ZooBrew: Cowboys and Claws, learn more about the challenges and achievements of some of these rough riders and the clawed animals they work with, including Snow Leopard Trust, Polar Bears International, and the Niassa Lion Project.  

• Lion biofact cart from 6:30-9:30 PM: learn about lions and Hogle Zoo's partnership with the Niassa Carnivore Project  

• Tidewater Cove biofact cart from 6:30-9:30 PM: learn about polar bears and our partnership with Polar Bears International  

• Trivia in Wildlife Theater from 7:30-8:00 PM 

Please note:

• ZooBrews are 21+ events. A valid state-issued photo ID or passport is required to enter the event. Guests will be turned away without a valid ID. 
• In accordance with Utah liquor laws, ZooBrew event guests can only purchase and consume up to four alcoholic beverages per event. 

Drink wristbands: 

• We'll be using a non-transferrable wristband system for alcoholic beverage purchases. 
• Guests consuming alcohol must purchase a drink wristband, with a maximum of four alcoholic drinks, before heading to the bars. A staff member must place the wristband at the time of purchase. 
• Drink wristbands will be available for purchase at Entry Plaza from 6:30-8:45 PM. 
• If a guest removes or tampers with the drink wristband for any reason, it will void the drink purchases with no refund. 
• You must be physically present at the bar and show your wristband to redeem your drink. You cannot get a drink for someone who is not physically present at the bar, or give a drink to someone who does not have a wristband with available drinks.
• Drinks are $10 each. Cash and card accepted. 
• Drink wristbands are non-refundable and do not roll over to other ZooBrew events. 

Know before you go:

• Last call for drinks is at 9:10 PM. 
• No alcohol is served after 9:15 PM. 
• Hogle Zoo wants you to have fun like responsible party animals. We encourage all guests to be prepared with ride share or designated driver.

What is ZooBrew?    

ZooBrews are adults-only (21+) themed events occurring on select Wednesdays in the summer after the zoo closes to the public. A portion of all proceeds benefit our wildlife conservation partners.

If I’m a member, can I buy a ZooBrew ticket for a friend?   

Yes, ZooBrews are more fun with friends. Zoo members can use their membership discount to buy tickets for their friends.

How will I receive my online ZooBrew ticket?   

Tickets will be sent to the email provided at checkout. The PDF can be scanned or added to your Apple Wallet.

Are ZooBrew tickets or drink wristbands refundable?   

ZooBrew admission tickets and drink wristbands are non-refundable and non-transferrable to another ZooBrew event. Drink wristbands are only available for the night you purchase them and DO NOT roll over to another ZooBrew event or guest.

What can I expect at ZooBrew?   

ZooBrew is an adult-only, after-hours fun environment. It's your chance to see the zoo in a completely different way. The best way to experience ZooBrew is to: dress up according to the theme, purchase brew-exclusive food and beverages, participate in an animal encounter, buy brew-exclusive art made by Hogle Zoo’s resident animals, and learn how to support the zoo’s conservation initiatives.

Does ZooBrew happen rain or shine?   

Yes! Please come prepared if there is rain in the forecast. ZooBrew admission tickets and drink tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable to another ZooBrew event.
