Hogle Halloween: A Boo Lights Experience turns the zoo into a playful Halloween adventure on select nights from September 24 through October 30. Winter at Hogle Zoo
Winter is here, and so are new reasons to visit Utah’s Hogle Zoo. From seasonal experiences to cozy habitats and wintertime moments with animals in our care, the zoo is a fun place to spend a chilly day. Whether you’re planning a quick visit or a full afternoon of exploring, winter at the zoo offers plenty to discover.
Keep an eye out for baby Bornean orangutan Weila and her foster mom, Acara. Guests may see them in the Great Apes lobby or the outdoor habitat. Look closely, Weila’s hair blends into Acara’s, and they often rest on high shelves or in hammocks.
