Hogle Halloween is Hogle Zoo’s signature Halloween-themed, after-hours event featuring a family-friendly light display. During Hogle Halloween, the zoo transforms into a glowing autumn destination with seasonal decorations, interactive attractions like Spiderella’s Lair, Dr. Frankenstein’s Mad Lab, and exclusive treats available at The Beastro.

Utah’s Hogle Zoo reserves the right to deny entry or remove any guest whose costume or accessories are deemed inappropriate or pose a potential safety risk or threat to guests, staff, or animals.
Hogle Halloween runs from 6:30 to 9:30 PM on select nights, September 24 through October 30.
Depending on your group size, we recommend at least 90 minutes to enjoy the event. Hogle Halloween displays glow brighter as the night goes on, so grab dinner at The Beastro first and then explore Hogle Halloween under the stars.
Hogle Halloween is an after-hours light display; most habitats will be closed or dark so the animals can get a full night’s rest, including the Great Apes Lobby, Bear Den, Small Animal Building, Creekside, Asian Highlands, and South Hill.
While animal viewing is limited, the zoo comes alive in a whole new way, with immersive lights, Halloween entertainment, and spooky fun around every corner.
Yes, the Eccles Express and the Conservation Carousel will be operating during Hogle Halloween. Tickets are $3.50 per person per ride.

Costumes: For the safety of resident animals and guests, we do not allow full face-covering masks, weapons, or resemblance of weapons of any kind. Hogle Zoo reserves the right to deny entry to anyone whose costume is inappropriate, crude, revealing, graphic, or deemed a risk or threat by zoo staff.
