Show off your brightest colors at ZooBrew: Colors of Conservation, a vibrant community party celebrating the colors of nature. Sip delicious brews, indulge in tasty treats, and raise a glass to wildlife. You'll learn about Utah's vibrant pollinators, conservation organizations Hogle Zoo supports, and Jordan River restoration opportunities.

ZooBrew: Colors of Conservation, sponsored by the BW Bastian Foundation, is all about celebrating the beauty of nature and your involvement in creating places where people and wildlife thrive together. Grab your zoo crew and enjoy a night that's as wild and wonderful as you.

• Creekside biofact cart from 6:30-9:30 PM: learn about the important roles of nature’s most diverse and colorful species! Bugs might be small, but they play critical roles in ecosystems around the world.
• Seed Dumplings in the Aline W. Skaggs Maker Space from 6:30-9:30 PM: create a seed dumpling that you can plant at home to support local pollinators and ecosystems.
• Conservation table in Rhino Lodge from 6:30-9:30 PM: learn how conservation organizations protect wildlife and sign up for one of Hogle Zoo’s conservation outings.

Please note:   

• ZooBrews are 21+ events. A valid state-issued photo ID or passport is required to enter the event. Guests will be turned away without a valid ID.
• In accordance with Utah liquor laws, ZooBrew event guests can only purchase and consume up to four alcoholic beverages per event.

Drink wristbands:

• We'll be using a non-transferrable wristband system for alcoholic beverage purchases.
• Guests consuming alcohol must purchase a drink wristband before heading to the bars. A staff member must place the wristband at the time of purchase.
• Drink wristbands will be available for purchase at Entry Plaza and Oasis Plaza from 6:30-8:45 PM.
• You must be physically present at the bar and show your wristband to redeem your drink. You cannot get a drink for someone who is not physically present at the bar. 
• If a guest removes or tampers with the drink wristband for any reason, it will void the drink purchases with no refund.
• Drinks are $10 each. Cash and card accepted.
• Drink wristbands are non-refundable and do not roll over to other ZooBrew events.

Know before you go:

• Last call for drinks is at 9:10 PM.
• No alcohol is served after 9:15 PM.

Hogle Zoo wants you to have fun like responsible party animals. We encourage all guests to be prepared with ride share or designated driver. 

What is ZooBrew?    

ZooBrews are adults-only (21+) themed events occurring on select Wednesdays in the summer after the zoo closes to the public. A portion of all proceeds benefit our wildlife conservation partners.

If I’m a member, can I buy a ZooBrew ticket for a friend?   

Yes, ZooBrews are more fun with friends. Zoo members can use their membership discount to buy tickets for their friends.

How will I receive my online ZooBrew ticket?   

Tickets will be sent to the email provided at checkout. The PDF can be scanned or added to your Apple Wallet.

Are ZooBrew tickets or drink wristbands refundable?   

ZooBrew admission tickets and drink wristbands are non-refundable and non-transferrable to another ZooBrew event. Drink wristbands are only available for the night you purchase them and DO NOT roll over to another ZooBrew event.

What can I expect at ZooBrew?   

ZooBrew is an adult-only, after-hours fun environment. It's your chance to see the zoo in a completely different way. The best way to experience ZooBrew is to: dress up according to the theme, purchase brew-exclusive food and beverages, participate in an animal encounter, buy brew-exclusive art made by Hogle Zoo’s resident animals, and learn how to support the zoo’s conservation initiatives.

Does ZooBrew happen rain or shine?   

Yes! Please come prepared if there is rain in the forecast. ZooBrew admission tickets and drink tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable to another ZooBrew event.
