ZooLights is an after-hours holiday tradition to celebrate the season at Hogle Zoo. Wander through a glowing winter wonderland filled with holiday-themed light displays, festive decorations, and family-friendly fun.
Enjoy seasonal treats at the Beastro, warm drinks, and interactive holiday experiences. While most habitats will be dark to let animals rest, there’s still plenty of magic to explore.

ZooLights is an after-hours light display; most habitats will be closed or dark so the animals can get a full night’s rest, including: Great Apes, Bear den, the Small Animal Building, Creekside, Asian Highlands, South Hill, and the Ape Lobby. The Norma Education building will close at sundown.
ZooLights is glowing from 5:30 – 9 PM select nights between November 28, 2025 – January 4, 2026

Depending on your group size, we recommend at least an hour and a half to experience the event. ZooLights displays glow brighter as the night goes on, so grab dinner at The Beastro, visit Santa in the Wild Zootique gift shop, and explore ZooLights under the stars.
The Conservation Carousel will be operating during ZooLights. Tickets are $3 per person per ride.

Yes! ZooLights happens snow or shine, so gear up for a night like no other. ZooLights admission tickets are not refundable due to weather.
