Educator Appreciation
October 1 – October 19, 2025
Utah’s Hogle Zoo is celebrating educators with free general admission and BooLights tickets October 1 – 19, 2025! Plus, educators can receive 50% off general admission and BooLights tickets for up to two guests.
Teachers, substitute teachers, administrators, counselors, education support professionals, custodians, nutritional staff, transportation, or any other school staff from preschool through college are eligible, with a valid school or district ID or proof of employment. The educator discount does not apply to homeschool educators.
- Offer available in person only at the ticketing window. Online tickets are not eligible.
- Promotions and discounts cannot be combined.
- Every zoo guest is required to have a ticket.
- Children 2 and under are always free.
Wild Wednesdays
Swing by Hogle Zoo’s Wild Wednesdays to meet Addo the western lowland gorilla, baby Weila the Bornean orangutan, and bouncy Basil the colobus monkey! General admission tickets are $6 online or $8 in person on the last Wednesday of the month, November 2025 – February 2026. Guests 2 and under are always free at Hogle Zoo.

Military Discounts
Utah’s Hogle Zoo offers $3 off general admission year-round for military personnel with valid military IDs. The discount is available at the ticket window. Thank you for your service.
Hogle Zoo also offers FREE daytime general admission for military personnel and their immediate families on designated military appreciation days:
Zoo For All Admission
Guests with EBT and SNAP benefits can purchase up to 6 tickets at $10 for adults and $8 for children. Available only at the ticket window during regular daytime zoo admission.

If you’re visiting Salt Lake City and are looking for discounted admission tickets to various attractions, purchase the Visit Salt Lake Connect Pass and receive admission tickets to Utah’s Hogle Zoo as well as neighboring attractions.

Mother’s Day – Saturday and Sunday, May 10-11, 2025
Celebrate Mother’s Day at Hogle Zoo on Saturday and Sunday, May 10-11. Mothers and mother figures will receive one free daytime admission with purchase of one full-priced adult or child ticket. Available only at the ticket window.
Father’s Day – Saturday and Sunday, June 14-15, 2025
Celebrate Father’s Day at Hogle Zoo on Saturday and Sunday, June 14-15. Fathers and father figures will receive one free daytime admission with purchase of one full-priced adult or child ticket. Available only at the ticket window.

- Please note these discounts are only available at the ticket window, and every person entering the zoo must have a ticket.
- How do I get the free ticket for Mother’s Day and Father’s Day weekend? The ticket promotion is available for in-person ticket purchases made at the ticket window. Please note that tickets purchased online are not included in this promotion.
- What if I’ve already purchased tickets for those dates? Bring your tickets to the ticket window for a refund. We’ll assist you in re-purchasing tickets for the Mother’s Day or Father’s Day weekend ticket promotion.
