We’ll uncover the clever ways animals in the wild stay cool when the temperatures rise, and find out how zookeepers help their animals stay comfortable during the hottest days. Join us for a refreshing look at how animals handle the summer heat!

Lights, camera, action! In this exciting camp, participants become a wildlife filmmaker. We will explore amazing animals by observing their behaviors and habitats, and then work in groups to create our own nature documentaries. By the end of the week, campers will gain a new appreciation for wildlife and discover how documentaries can inspire global conservation.

8:30 AM-4:00 PM Do you love animals? Do you think measuring, scrubbing, sweeping, and interacting with wild animals would be a perfect day? Have you always wanted to be a zookeeper? Well, here is your chance to see if you have what it takes. Come to the Zoo for a hands‒on, behind-the-scenes, fun-filled day. Participants will spend their day with a staff member learning about the life of a zookeeper. The program includes watching animal training, learning about animal diets, meeting ambassador animals and helping to clean exhibits.
