Zoo Volunteers are dedicated to furthering the mission of Utah’s Hogle Zoo. Volunteers assist keepers in providing the highest level of animal welfare and support zoo programs that inspire conservation action through guest education, adventure, and life experiences.
Hogle Zoo strives to provide inclusive service opportunities that promote wildlife stewardship while fostering worthwhile, purposeful experiences for our volunteer.
Volunteer Interviews for long-term roles are held in April and September.
Join our Zoo Team to help make Hogle Zoo a destination with a purpose. Zoo Aides, Zoo Guides, Zoo Corps members, and Zoo Divers all play a vital role in our mission.

Zoo Guides and Zoo Corps Members work with our Education Team, ensuring guests experience a visit that is not only fun but educational and inspires guests to take action to care for wild animals and wild places.
