Register5:00-8:00 PM Fish, wildlife, and people all share this planet, and management of all their needs is a science and an art. Learn how wildlife managers help balance the needs of different species in this 3-hour class. We will complete requirements 1, 2, 3, 4, 6B, and 8. *Note that this class is VIRTUAL.
RegisterBugs help us in lots of important ways. Explore the world of bugs and learn more about these little creatures that do so much! During this class scouts will pass off on several of the requirements for the brownie bugs badge. Adults are welcome to attend class but are not required to stay. Badges are not provided by the zoo.

On Monday and Tuesday, campers will spend time at the Natural History Museum of Utah, exploring ecosystems from around the world, like the Everglades and the Himalayas, and learning how they connect to the ones in our backyards, like the Great Salt Lake and the Wasatch Mountains. On Wednesday and Thursday, campers will explore the brand new Wild Utah habitat at Utah’s Hogle Zoo. This innovative space will provide campers with an in-depth understanding of the animals and the creation of their habitats at the zoo. Campers will come away with a deeper appreciation of and stewardship for Utah’s wildlife and world biomes. Registration opens March 11 on the NMHU website.
